YouScoob - Online Social Network for Divers

The concept of YouScoob was to create an online social networking portal, allowing scuba divers to upload details to their very own virtual Divelog. The bespoke social networks core values are to save, share and inspire all aspects of dive life; focusing on networking with other divers sharing and saving dive related information.

The Brief .....

Youscoob needs to be accessible to divers around the world with easy to use log-in and user functionality. They wanted to revolutionise the way Divelogs were created, shared, and stored, allowing divers the freedom to create a dive log that is saved for life and that can be shared with dive buddies online. A forum area enabling buddy to buddy interactivity and chat was also key.

The outcome ........

*Youscoob Web Portal * iRelish Media conceptualized, created and developed a dynamic multimedia web portal. A comprehensive electronic Divelog was created, not only for the usual diver information, but for uploading of pictures and ultimately video taken during the dive. An open forum called the Divewall was created to allow all to contribute to the topics posted. A buddy to buddy chat facility was also devised so that friends could communicate person to person in a more private way. A welcome video was also produced explaining what Youscoob was all about and depicting the diversity of people and dive venues around the world. The work done started right from the start with the creation of a corporate identity, logo, letterhead, flyers, banners and was officially launched at the Excell Dive show with great success.
